Dwelling Fire in Barrington

Squad 75 responded to 15 Cedar Ave in Barrington for a dwelling fire. The 1st arriving crew on Quint 91Barrington was met with heavy fire conditions on the C side 1st floor. They made a very aggressive attack with a 2 12 handline. Squad 75 arrived and laddered the front and rear of the dwelling along with ventilating the 2nd floor. The fire was placed under control quickly and is under investigation. One elderly resident was transported to the hospital for smoke inhalation.nbsp
